Abstract

The economic growth of the regional economies, the promotion of China and the cultural resurrection of Confucianism force us to make new questions in relationship with the vague limits and borders of the new audiovisual areas. Moving away from both the old paradigm of cultural imperialism and the new one of de-territorialization, our research tries to identify the geocultural markets of the new audiovisual and cultural global order and its roots in centuries of Confucian tradition.
