Propuestas para una modelización del uso expresivo de la voz

Abstract

In this article, a clear conceptual separation is postulated between oral information that depends directly on the language system (linguistic expression) and information that depends on the voice characteristics that are based on the linguistic system, in order to transmit primary expressive sensations such as emotion, energy, friendliness, unpleasantness, physical characteristics of the speaker, etc. (phonoesthesic expression). Once this differentiation has been established, a theoretical model is developed to explain how the phonoesthesic expression works. This model describes the concepts and techniques that explain how a speaker can control the sound of his voice in terms of expression.
