La evolución de la prensa en Galicia (1976-1996)

Abstract

This article is the result of a research carried out at the Faculty of Journalism of Santiago de Compostela for the last three years, aims at providing an account of the evolution of the newspapers published in Galicia. To this end, the study analyzed the diffusion of newspapers from 1976 until 1996, and the interrelation of it whit the territory and the cultural and political interrelation. During the last years, Galicia has consolidated its own informative system that has brought difficulties for the entry of foreign newspapers. The study analyzed the evolution of this system and each one of its elements with the perspective of a new century that begins.
