Abstract

In recent Spanish biopic, stands out the cycle of films that has taken to the screen the lives of those individuals branded by dictatorship historic writing. Films like La mujer del anarquista, La buena nueva, Las treces rosas, María querida y Soldados de Salamina, can be considered as the filmic materialisation of the claim of large social segments to rehabilitate the figure of "loser". This fertile path invites to the reflection about the Spanish society needs of building a narrative of History -and his protagonists-, that be able to give sense to our present.
