Abstract

In the increasing of transnational migratory flows context, this article explores the construction of processes and/or the use of the urban space by new population, particularly the comercial spaces that migration has produced into the contemporary Madrid. It shows in one hand the way the migrating subjects give a new meaning to the urban spaces using a diversity of discourses and practices, and in the other hand it shows how these spaces turn to be the support for new flows and relations of transnational order.
