What do the (less and less rare) name changes of private companies or political parties connote?

Abstract
When we think of name changes, we almost spontaneously think of natural persons. This article seeks to draw attention to name changes, which are much more frequent than one might think at first glance, at the levels of collective entities, specifically in large private companies and political parties or coalitions. How can they be understood through an epochal diagnosis? What inflections do they indicate with respect to the value of trademarks or ideologies and the attachment to them? What possible transformations do they point to at the level of identities?
