Monograph issue coordinated by Diego Zenobi and Susann Ullberg on “Anthropology, Crises, and Disasters in Latin America”. It includes a fundamental text by Telma Camargo da Silva, and original works by Roberto Barrios, A. J. Faas, Adrián Koberwein, y Virginia Vecchioli. Those papers are followed with an interviewed by the coordinators of the issue with Virginia García-Acosta, and with two critical papers by Revet on A Revelatory Pandemic: Crisis, Agency, and Covid in Latin America, and of Scharager around Víctimas: debates sobre una condición contemporánea. In Research Articles, we offer original works by Ramírez Silva along with Carrillo Basto and De la Rosa Aguiar, and by Bacilio. The Inherited Identity section includes in this issue an article by Núñez Mosteo.
