Abstract
The reduction of hours of work to 35 per week promotes employ and involves a letter quality of life. This reduction would be the strategy to obtain a fairer and jointly shared society. In the last years there have been a great increase of productivity, that has been shares neither to the salaries neither to the creation of new employment, but to the profits of the creation of emplOyment, if the profits of the enterprise and its capital (the profits have increase fast). A fairer distribution of wealth allows the reduction of hours of work and the creation of employment, if the profits of the firm grouns lower than now. The line of argument of those who are against the reduction of hours of work are falses. Behind them we find that they are not going to reduct their profits in order to create more employment however, in the Basque Country they will manage to ger 35 hours per week. The sooner they manage this, o there will be more employement.
