Abstract

The expansion of communications networks, incessant scientific and technological development and the implantation of new information and communication technologies are social phenomena which seem to oblige us to reassess educational targets and didactic methodologies in educations institutions.

The article below presents the basics and didactic design for a teaching/learning experiment which attempts to take into account these new challenges faced by higher education.

This didactic model was implemented during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 courses in the Bilbao and Vitoria teaching colleges by the author of the article and responds to an attempt to achieve a teaching system which, with the support of the new information and communication technologies, complements the traditional paradigm of teacher training classes.
