Abstract

This article deals, from a theoretical point of view, with the relevance of working with corporal sensations within the field of training teachers for practical situations. For all these reasons, experience-related learning is defended as a model to develop relationship-based skills which all teachers have and need when carrying out their educational work with their pupils. By means of experience-based learning, the teacher works with current experiences, with direct feeling of the complexity of situations and their difficulties. The central phenomenon is experiencing, understood as a current of feelings which occur in the immediate present, which are organism-like, preconceptional and in this sense guide towards conceptualisation. This current of feelings is meaningful or it is a source of meaning; in this way, people can refer to it and form concepts, so giving it an importance for living in the present by opening up space for meanings and giving relevance to experience.
