Abstract
This paper describes the experience of an in-class intervention programme aimed at improving oral production competences in Basque on a student population aged between 4 and 12 years and attending a particular school in Guipuzcoa, in which Basque is the primary teaching language. The board of teachers requested external help to improve the students' oral production in Basque. As a response, was implemented for a period of two years an in-class intervention programme which main characteristics, development and results are presented in this paper.
