Abstract

In this paper I intend to show that the Bagaudic movement died out in Gaul in AD 437 and that the rebellions associated with it can be explained from a different historical context, such as the settlement of barbarians (Armorica in AD 40 of the 5th century), or discarded as existing (Eudoxius in AD 448).
