Abstract

The article is about the popularizing science dimension of the journalistic text, its reformating character and didacticity. The analysis focuses on the treatment of economy information throughout the crisis, because of its specialized nature, requiring a discursive strategy to make the rigour of presentation compatible with the wide heterogeneous receiver that is typical of the media. This informative process requires a recontextualization of the specialized knowledge that is developed through three procedures: the reworking of the original conceptual networks, the retextualization of scientific discourse in the journalistic environment and reconceptualization affecting terminology and lexical referents.
