Abstract
This article presents the results of an investigation about the structure and media ownership concentration in Latin America, related to cultural industries and telecommunications. Main categories, premises and methodology used draw a clear picture of the whole in info-communications industries in Latin America. This allowed for the phenomenon to be considered from a qualitative and quantitative perspective. The investigation studied data from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. Our research group is updating all data with figures for the present, for better analyze and compare the processes in study.
