Abstract
This article aims to precisely define the method used for interpreting a selection of almost three hundred photographs by the graphic reporter Ceferino Yanguas, from amongst the nearly three thousand images that make up his complete work. While that work represented a conscious attempt to combine the best of the disciplines that, in one way or another, have approached photography (Semiotics, Anthropology, History, Art History and one of its branches, Iconography), this work will try to put into play all of those disciplines, all of those tools, at the service of the most famous image by Yanguas: the semi-naked woman
