Abstract
The popularisation of the Internet has meant that the solidarity organisations (associations, NGOs, social movements) find themselves involved in processes of communication and technological appropriation in which certain viewpoints, theories and models are expressed that, in some cases, enter into contradiction with the social aims that these bodies profess. There is an evaporation and dissolution of the political dimension of communication and technologies, which is related to the increasingly commercial character of the solidarity bodies. This article provides an account of this process, with special attention given to the analysis of research made in the Spanish context.
