Abstract
The hybridization of the television formats, specially the reality shows ones, is yet a reality in television.. From the Big Brother study, this article takes up the reality shows history again, approaching the television format question and its different nominations given by the researchers. This article attempts to understand the success of this globalizated program that have mobilized the audiences of 22 countries transforming the reality in a television's spectacle.
