Laburpena

We publish a catechism written in the Basque language, which may have been translated in the first quarter of the nineteenth century. It was found in Gartzain, a little village situated in the High-Navarrese valley called Baztan.
   We offer a brief introduction, in which we describe the manuscript and give a short account of some linguistic facts. Doing so, we aim at a better knowledge of the Basque language.
