Abstract
The work we are about to publish. is the paleographic edition of the pastoral play on Saint Julian of Antioch, performed in Sarrikotape (Charritte-de-Bas) in 1770, recorded in manuscript number 1695-111 at Bordeauxs municipal library.
This pastoral play was first edited by researcher Julien Vinson in 1891. The preface to the present editions transcription contains several details about the manuscript, the writing and the copyist. It also contains a short passage of the pastoral play on Celestine of Savoy, written by writer and collector of pastoral plays Jakes Oihenart in the 19th century, as a demonstration of the possible relationship that could exist between old pastoral plays.
A brief glossary has been added at the end of this edition, which contains passages of the manuscript, in order to provide some help for its understanding.
