Abstract

Pedro Alfonso is served in the composition of the Disciplina Clericalis, to which prints a didactic and moralistic character, of multitude of resources and topics, taken from the classical literature and the Arabian and oriental literatures. When including an epigraphic poem, a CLE, in order to exemplify the improvidence of the death and its devastating effects on the humans, without denying that also he is present in the Arabian tradition, it resorts to a sort of long Christian and classical tradition.
