Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to analyse the vertical integration of fish prices along the value chain from an aggregate approach. This approach is based on the construction of a synthetic aggregate index of fish prices in origin (JPI) for subsequent comparison with the index of fish prices (API) and the consumer price index (KPI) of the National Statistics Institute (INE).
