This paper addresses a series of issues raised by the emergence of artificial intelligence systems in the field of medicine. Specifically, it addresses their potential impact on certain rights recognised to patients, such as autonomy and privacy, as well as issues relating to the potential criminal liability associated with the use of such tools, both collaborative and autonomous.
