Abstract

This paper synthesizes the research based on the relationship between quality and performance. This review is carried out from different research design types: measures of quality management and business performance, and different research models. We focus our review on research studies written to analyze the relationship between TQM and business performance suggesting that some models that simultaneously use subjective and objective business performance measures could contribute to understand conclusion diversity on this field.
