Abstract
This article analyses the diversity of contexts of exhibition of the Roman inscriptions in the provincia Hispania citerior during the Augustan age. Special attention is paid to the importance that cities acquired in the territory's Romanization process, as well as the configuration of new exhibition spaces in some cases within the strategies of self-representation and promotion of local elites.
