Abstract
Along with the bone collection found in the first excavations by H. Obermaier, the new diggins performed by V. Cabrera and F. Bernaldo de Quiros discover new elements who enlarge and confirm its presence in Unit 18 (Transitional Aurignacian). In this paper we present the first results in the technological analysis of this materials. Among the materials found we found a different typology and also some pieces without a clear utility. The collection of El Castillo could present us various and provocative imformations on the behaviour and cultural development of the groups who use the site around the 40.000 years BP.
