Abstract
In the model of neolithisation usually employed for the Mediterranean area of Iberic peninsula, interaction between different cultural groups, epipaleolithic indigenous and neolithic newcomers, constitutes one of the premises of the basic hypothesis. The gradients of this interaction can be evaluated through the evolution phases of the recent Epipaleolithic-Mesolithic, in which the moment of the effective contacts corresponds to C stage, after the situation of vicinity that had existed since the advanced stage of B phase. This is the traditional view of C stage, but other readings of the same would be possible regarding its archaeological contents.
