Abstract
Vascones assimilated Roman culture at an early stage. This fact is confirmed by person and place-names data. The present work assembles other evidences, such as the constructive remains found in some house floorings («opus signinum»). These elements follow the Italic trends and were applied in today's Navarra during the I century B.C. They have been found in every city excavated in this part of Hispania. Other evidence that has also been found is the use of Campaniense home pottery imported from the Italic peninsula.
