Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to offer a feasible solution to the origin and development of the Proto-Indo-European *sC- consonant clusters and *s- movable from a Nostratic point of view. In order to understand this new proposal, it will be necessary to take into account several factors already used by Edgerton, Siebs, Fraenkel and Benveniste, as well as material from other branches of the Nostratic Family.
