Abstract
Within the paradigm of the political economy of communication, the typology of logics of the cultural industries must be reviewed in the light of the rapid transformations that the sector is undergoing. Globalisation, digitisation, convergence and neo-regulation are some of the factors of change that are leading to a hybridisation of the dual basic typology, with the appearance of new dynamics and a re-evaluation of the role of the users.
