Abstract

In the present article, the race towards a carbon-neutral world by 2050 has been taken as the reference framework. From there, the aim is to question and analyze the limitations in its implementation, as well as to explore the role of the contemporary artist in this scenario. The investigation delves into the individual responsibility and commitment of the artist, assuming a tangible involvement in this context. The work proposes an approach to research of an aesthetic nature with a transdisciplinary scope that articulates issues related to artistic action and the quantitative analysis of greenhouse gas emissions.
