Abstract
The environmental crisis is imposed with an urgency, a decisiveness and a demand for action and results characteristic of our times, of a type of society and an economy that have paradoxically contributed to the same crisis that we want to stop. This study raises the question of methods, of methods with certain times and modes in relation to the environment in which they are developed and not imposed for the good reasons of the expert, the researcher, the artist. To delve deeper into this issue, the intervention of the Mexican collective Teatro Ojo «Volverse negro» (volversenegro.mx) in Salamanca (Guanajuato) is analyzed, where the largest oil refinery in the country is located.
