The text of this unfinished catechism published here for the first time was written by the priest Gerónimo Almiranterena. His signature appears on the certificates of the parish register from Aribe (1818-52). The text is dialectally interesting since it is written in a variety unrelated to that of the Astete versions, which were done -among the best known- by Minondo and Loperena.
