Abstract
Some thoughts have been raised on the ciuitas Argenomescon —in the cantabri— considering the changes and transformations caused by Rome, after Augustus, among these communities far from the pattern of the pattern of the classical city-state which, at the same time, will allow us to deepen our understanding of the romanization of the marginal areas of the empire, in this case, of the north of Hispania.
