En un ecosistema mediático dominado por plataformas globales y modelos extractivos, los medios latinos nativos digitales en Estados Unidos desarrollan prácticas de producción innovadoras mediante estrategias de sostenibilidad alternativas. Este ensayo analiza cómo estas iniciativas, impulsadas para servir a comunidades migrantes y biculturales, enfrentan desafíos y aprovechan oportunidades. A partir de entrevistas semi estructuradas se examina el uso estratégico de plataformas y modelos innovadores de financiamiento que permiten su autonomía editorial. Estas experiencias, ubicadas en los márgenes del ecosistema mediático global, operan como laboratorios de innovación y resistencia en la economía de plataformas contemporáneas.
