Abstract
Provo was a countercultural movement active in Amsterdam between 1965 and 1967. Its members showed great creativity in their publications and actions, creating their own aesthetic universe linked to their political anti-establishment ideas. This paper explores some aspects of the movement's aesthetics, especially through its clandestine printing press, the colour white and its reinvention of the happening in an urban context of revolt.
