Abstract

This article explores artistic creation from a contemporary point of view, from the new contributions to the field of digital media art, such as artificial intelligence and visual programming languages. We understand AI as a booming creative resource currently available to anyone with access to digital devices. This allows us to introduce and take advantage of the possibilities offered by Deep Learning or Machine Learning processes at an artistic level. A case study of the generative artwork entitled XXXX is presented, in which concepts such as systems theory and global creation from a local environment based on the aesthetics of the remix are highlighted. The growing number of works that use these techniques raises the question of the type of methodologies that are beginning to be required in the field of artistic creation.
