Abstract

The text presented here is based on the case of Los ángeles exterminados (1968), a two-part television series produced in 1968 by the Office de Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française (ORTF), filmed during José Bergantín's second exile in Paris, which was not broadcast in Spain until 1996. We ask how the cultural medium, which tends towards standardisation, and other forms of creation related to the aesthetic and spiritual perception of reality relate to each other. In this case, the sensitive vision we are referring to is determined by the thought of José Bergamín, who wrote the script for the aforementioned series. Thus, the notion of Art will be understood from the multifaceted and contradictory vision of the author. Also to be taken into account is the person who was responsible for giving image to the script, that is to say, the director of the series Michel Mitrani, who, concerned about the transmission of Bergamin's thought, proposed the creation of the series to French  television.
