Abstract

The present work has the purpose to make known the Museum of Physics of La Plata City, and its peculiar way of being visited. Unlike other museums, visitors do not go through large halls, but rather "walk" the museum from the various participatory experiences that are developed using the patrimonial instruments, which were bought by the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 1906. These instruments allow visitors to get closer to the issues that address physics: from "seeing" the sound waves in the fire, to producing sparks. In addition to these visits, in the Museum there are many different activities, such as shows that mix science and art, in which the public becomes a protagonist, having an approach to science in a playful and friendly way.
