Abstract
Artistic teaching at the university field requires new methodologies that allow developing their own languages close to the contemporary creation model, exploring the unique character of each student and their artistic ambitions. In order to carry out an innovative training approach and connected to the creative needs of today's world, a working method is proposed in the classroom that, from the first moment, generates interest and some confusion among students. Gone are the models oriented to the development of objects with a certain technical skill to make way for methods that facilitate exploration, experimentation and search. The proposal that that arises starts from the action as an initial element to take multiple drifts and recordings that will lead to very diverse results, causing ways of doing things centered on processes and personal experimentation. We have verified in the development of this model of teaching work, the resulting projects cover a much wider range of meanings than those provided by more traditional proposals, in addition to offering a much free framework. The methodology presented in this research has been put into practice in the teaching of sculptural projects, but its scope is broad, and can be used in various disciplines, without the need to focus on artistic creation.
