¿Qué posición ocupa la escritura en el campo artístico?

Abstract

Is there a place for writing in the field of contemporary art? From this article we propose to rethink the established notions and the role of writing within the artistic field. We also seek to understand writing as one more practice within the art system and not as a mere tool To do this, we proceed, on the one hand, to reflect on writing itself, and on the other hand, to a review by artists and authors whose practice falls within this area that arises with the hybridization of both fields ( both practically and theoretically), to demystify preconceived ideas about the position of writing within artistic practice. Adopting this new way of understanding writing and the relationships that arise in the act of writing, we try to attract this displaced field to the academic system of artistic education, to offer and generate a more interdisciplinary education.
