Abstract
In 1992, in order to preserve the tangible and intangible heritage of rural schools, the association Musée rural de l'éducation dans les Côtes d'Armor (Rural Museum of Education of Côtes d'Armor) leads a project to make the school of Bothoa a place to impart heritage classes. In 1994 this mu-seum opened its doors. In addition to an important work of rehabilitation of the building, it is furnished and enriched with objects to show a school set in the thirties. The museum also has the recreation of the master's house. The center organizes various types of activities throughout the year with the aim of immersing visitors in the atmosphere of a school of the past.
