Abstract

A notable group of professors and researchers from the Seville University attest to the important role played by the educational heritage in teaching and in contemporary university research.
We find ourselves with a university heritage formed by a set of cultural goods that are exhibited and displayed within the framework of the disciplines themselves. This is linked in a scientific way, the material and its meaning, the physical and the immaterial without ambiguities, exposed for consultation, in archives, libraries and museums, where an educational public service is taught, investigated and offered to the public service to society.
