Abstract
Calmly, without hurries, Juan Iglesias returns to those places where he developed his professional life as teacher along the geography of Cantabria. The environments are very changed, but most of the buildings continue fulfilling their function to be schools.
The interest that the author always had for the photography, allows us to compare visually the past and the present of many of them.
Following the time-space model of The Geography of the Time by Torsten Hägerstrand, in the writing, the reflections of the traveller do not look only for things, but also for people with who he shared this past.
