Abstract
Generally speaking, historians of psychology have focused their investigations on different
theoretical approaches, different schools of psychological thought, the most influential
psychologists, ant the development of psychological ideas.
But, frequently they have forgotten one of the frameworks for development and application of psychology: educational institutions.
Next, one of the contents in which psychology began to be applied is our country from 1920 is going to be tackled, that is, the laboratory created by the secondary school teacher Eloy Luis André in Instituto Cardenal Cisneros of Madrid. After the civil war, he continued his work until 1960. In this way, we try to expand on the models, tools, tests, and other materials that were used, as well as to present some of the work made by students in the psychoeducational and the vocational and educational advising fields.
