Un inédito de Orixe: el contenido espiritual de la España nacionalista (1938)

Abstract

Study and edition of an unknown text of Orixe where, starting from an autobiographical episode —he was denounced in May 1938 and consequently had to escape to the other side of the border—, he tries to show the falseness of the catholicism of the rebels of 1936 and the moral superiority of the Basque nationalists. This new essay of Orixe provides some details about his biography but, above all, it is a unique text in his bibliography —close, however, to some passages of Quiton arrebarekin— in so far as it contains an extensive and systematic reflection about a crucial issue for Basque nationalism at that time.
