Abstract

Territories and cities as connected places of life need policies that compensate external communicative irradiation and reinforce their own and open production. The new Spanish General Law of Audiovisual Communication (2022) is an obstacle in this direction, by minimizing the obligations of transnational platforms and the Spanish television triopoly, in relation to pluralism, cultural and linguistic diversity and democratic governance
