Abstract

Heritage is understood as the wealth that the father gives to the son and this article is part of a journey that we have taken through Andalusian geography, which has allowed this research to meet with teachers who work in Secondary Education centers and High school called historical and discovering from his hand the buildings, educational resources, historical collections and ulti-mately its heritage in an Andalusian territory with a school population of high school and high school of 504,214 students. This article on the IES Santísima Trinidad de Baeza in Jaén, is a chap-ter of a doctoral thesis that will be presented in the coming weeks, directed by Dr. María Dolores Ruiz de Lacanal, full professor of the Department of Art History and Sculpture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Seville. The research has been the result of 17 visits by the centers of Andalusia with the aim of knowing first-hand the historical centers in Andalusian cities and capitals such as Cádiz, Jerez, El Puerto de Santa María, Granada, Almería, Huelva, Cabra, Cór-doba, Baeza, Antequera, Malaga, Huelva and Seville. Old buildings, gardens, libraries, archives and museums, where the researcher had an affectionate and pleasant appointment with professors, librarians, archivists and directors. It is right there where the arrangement of the collections in the space, the routes, photos were taken and the showcases or lighting were observed and where a few strokes are drawn on how to manage the archive, library funds, of the museum or museum class-room as an educational resource.
