Abstract

The creation of the Centre of Studies for Educational Memory (CEME) at the University of Murcia was approved by the Board of the same on 2nd April 2009. El CEME is a collective initiative that has been born to foster and safeguard the study, training and dissemination of the historical-educational memory and the heritage of educational institutions in general and in particular of the Region of Murcia. This text looks at their background and administrative structure, aims, their record and their current situation.
