Abstract
The rescue and interpretation of the material historical heritage of schools is unfortunately not yet a globalised activity. In Europe and North America there has been a wide development of this field of research and they have specific museums or exhibition halls that allow the general public to know and/or relive the history of education, such is the case of MUESCA that I had the fortune to visit last October. But there are other countries - such as Mexico - where the road is still long and winding. In my country there is no museum or exhibition of this type,1 which reflects the still low sensitivity and awareness of the importance of this type of heritage for a nation. Some attempts that could be at the forefront of the subject do not always achieve their objective, as is the case of the one I share with you today.
