Abstract
The article analyzes the geographical information present in the description of the Provincia Hispania citerior in the Pliny The Elder's Naturalis Historia. The research takes into account the development and characteristics of the geographic knowledge at the beginning of the Empire and the objective and the method used by the latin writer in the Naturalis Historia's geography.
